I help solo founders, small and fast-growing teams build the structures and environments that let them do their best work - the operational layer and the human layer, together.

Most founders I know are great at the vision part. It's everything behind it - the systems, the processes, the way the whole thing is structured - that falls apart as they grow.

This makes perfect sense. Building the right culture and operational spine takes a particular kind of patience and attention that most visionary people simply don't want to give their time to.

And that's exactly what I love to do. I care about how things are built, not just what gets built. And that includes the systems, the structures, the processes, and the human experience underneath them all.

That's why I work across organisational design, operations, and culture - to help founders build companies that are structurally sound, human at their core, and aligned with what they stand for.

I HELP BUSINESSES AND ORGANISATIONS BE BETTER, NOT JUST BIGGER.

And with the rise of automation tools and AI, I believe they should be used to free people to do more human things, not replace them. To think, to connect, to create. So before anything gets systematised or automated, I want to understand what's worth keeping human and what should be automated to free them for work that only they can do - and that actually matters.

What I've always been drawn to is the design problem underneath the surface problem. The business that's working but doesn't flow and depletes the people inside it. The project that keeps stalling despite everyone's effort. The life that's been optimised for the wrong things, leaving a person feeling empty. All of these are structural problems that can be fixed.

I WORK BEST WITH PEOPLE BUILDING THINGS WORTH BUILDING

Founders (early to mid-stage) who are working on something that makes a positive impact and are growing past their informal systems.

New venture creators who are launching projects and initiatives worth doing, but have no clear plan on how to do it.

Lifestyle business owners who are building something that reflects who they are and how they want to live, but are too busy with their work to think about the how.

Charities, social enterprises, and non-profits that are working on truly meaningful and purpose-driven projects but have no time to get the operational side of things sorted.

Intentional builders who start with meaning and don't want to lose it as they grow.

Creative studios and independent creators who are creating quality work but struggling to do it at scale.

And sometimes it's simpler than all of that:
you don't have the time or the desire to think about the operational side at all, but you know you need a proper
system, a clear plan, and someone to own it so you can focus on what actually matters.

HERE'S WHEN I COME IN

So I come in when there is something important that needs to exist and doesn't yet. I bridge the gap between your vision and the structural reality, leaving you with a company that is healthy, autonomous, and built to last.

You want your organisation built with intention - systems and structures that hold your culture and values in place, not just keep things moving efficiently.

You're working in the business, not on it, and you want that to change.

You have a vision for how things should run, but no one to design it - the scoping, the sequencing, the sixty interdependent things that need to happen in the right order.

Something keeps breaking and you can't quite name why.

You're about to hire, raise investment, or launch something significant, and you want the structure right before you do.

Everything lives across spreadsheets, emails, and someone's memory, and you know it needs to be built properly
before it breaks.

You've grown fast, and the way you work hasn't caught up.

HOW I WORK

I LIKE SOLVING DESIGN PROBLEMS

Taking a messy human or organisational situation and building something that makes it work better. The research, the diagnostic, the planning, and the building - all of these make me lose track of time.

I DIAGNOSE, DESIGN, BUILD, HELP YOU IMPLEMENT IT, AND LEAVE.

Every engagement has a defined end. I come in, understand the problem, design what will help you, help you build it, walk you through it, and leave. What I hand over is designed so you don't need me anymore.

I DON'T DO ONGOING MANAGEMENT AND EXECUTION.

I'm not a pair of hands but a thinking-and-building resource with a defined scope and a clean exit. I'm happy to help you implement the new solutions, but every engagement has an endpoint that we agree on before we start.

Clarity

We start by aligning on the vision, the blockers, and the 'why' behind the work.

Audit

I map what exists, what's broken, and what needs fixing first.

Design

I build the minimum viable system that solves your problem.

Walk through

I implement, document, and train whoever will run it after I leave.

Hand over

I give a clean handover with documentation. You own it and I leave.

I design and help you build systems that reflect your values, not just your processes

Many companies are designed by accident. They are built from urgency, habit, or whatever worked last time. The growth is always the goal, the structure is neutral, and the most important belief is that efficiency and productivity matter more than human flourishing.

I believe instead that the structure of organisations and their systems equals their value statement - and that organisations should not just focus on productivity, efficiency, and growth, but also on making them good, inside and out, for the people working inside them, the people they serve, and the environment in which they operate.

My thinking draws on systems theory, lean methodology, human-centred design, and regenerative business thinking - not as frameworks to apply, but as lenses that help me see what's actually going on inside an organisation.

MY APPROACH

Then let's have a conversation!

Tell me a little about what you're working on - where you are, what feels stuck, or what you're hoping to build. I'll read it properly and get back to you.

I'm open to project work, collaborations, and exploratory conversations. Rates are discussed once I understand the scope.
